This coastal site on the Passamaquoddy Bay at the Maine/Canadian border lies within New England-Acadian forest. The property supports a mosaic of forest and grasslands maintained by infrequent mowing. Tree species include the native white spruce/paper birch/aspen/larch/mountain ash dominants with invasive Norway maple and some planted red spruce and red pine. A full description of the natural history of the site is available here.
Crop counts were initiated in 2019 on 34 trees.
