Pan to Serve in Panel Drafting Mercury Monitoring Guidelines

ITEHP faculty member, William Pan, DrPH, was nominated by parties and stakeholders of the MINAMATA Convention on Mercury, an international treaty designed to protect human health and the environment from emissions and releases of mercury, to serve on a panel of experts that will draft guidelines for monitoring global mercury levels. He will be sharing all the information with the Duke Team Gold, an initiative focused on expanding research related to gold mining and mercury exposure.
