Zhuying (Zoey Xu)

I am a MEM student in Environmental Economic and Policy concentration, graduating in May 2018. I love to explore creative solutions to environmental issues. My interests lie in strategy development and innovative approach to promote environmental sustainability. I am also interested in conflict resolution that relates to natural resource management as well as energy and power market.

My master project, under the supervision of Dr. Basurto, is “How Should the Fundacion Gonzalo Rio-Arronte Allocate $15 Million Annually to Address Mexico’s Water Problems?” This research intends to identify the “best practices” to tackle water crisis in Mexican context for our client Fundacion Gonzalo Rio-Arronte. The primary research approach includes literature review, case studies, and interviews with global NGOs.
