Alex is a second-year Master of Environmental Management Candidate focusing on Coastal Environmental Management. Prior to returning to school, Alex lived in Key West, Florida working as the Assistant Director of Reef Relief, Inc. While working at the non-profit, Alex taught thousands of students about coral reef ecosystems and developed marine science curriculum, worked with community stakeholders to solve local environmental issues, and assisted in hiring and managing staff and interns. For her Master’s Project, Alex is focusing on assessing the effectiveness of co-management strategies on small-scale fisheries.
