About the Speaker: Dr. Lewis is currently an Assistant Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where her lab uses basic and systems cell biology approaches to interrogate the mechanisms of mitochondrial genome synthesis, segregation and inheritance in animal cells.
