Project 2 Postdoc Chris Kassotis accepts tenure-track position at the Wayne State University in Detroit, MI – Duke University Superfund Research Center

Dr. Chris Kassotis, a postdoctoral research with project 2 in the Stapleton lab, has accepted a tenure-track professor position at Wayne State University’s Department of Pharmacology and Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Congrats Chris!

Dr. Kassotis explains the focus of his new lab.

My lab will be researching how mixtures of #endocrinedisruptors or #EDCs influence human & animal #health, with an emphasis on metabolic health. I have a lot of exciting plans to ID mechanisms & potential impacts from chemical mixtures – using cell, zebrafish, & mouse models.

Dr. Kassotis will bring additional funding from NIEHS through his Pathway to Independence Award, given last fall.

I'm thankful to start my position with an R00 award from @NIEHS that aims to characterize potential metabolic health impacts of ethoxylated surfactants used in diverse common consumer products (detergents, etc). You can read more about this project here:https://t.co/MAJWBKMYos
