I’m a PhD student in the Marine Science and Conservation program at Duke starting this fall. I received my B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona and I’m currently studying coral reef biodiversity using molecular techniques at the Smithsonian Institution’s Natural History Museum. I’m broadly interested in how anthropogenic disturbances to foundation species alter marine food webs and ecosystems and am going to kick off my research in the Silliman lab by studying how we can leverage positive interactions to improve coastal wetland restoration.
