Julianna Renzi

Julianna is a second year graduate student and NSF Graduate Research Fellow in Duke’s Marine Science and Conservation program. She is broadly interested in how biodiversity influences coral and oyster reef resilience to multiple stressors, with a particular interest in interstitial organisms that live on foundation species. For her master’s thesis she is looking at how interstitial crabs and algae influence coral susceptibility to disease on the Great Barrier Reef.
