Marley Dooling

Marley is an undergraduate, pre-law sophomore at Duke double-majoring in Biology and Environmental Science/Policy, with concentrations in Marine Biology and Marine Science and Conservation. Her research focuses on understanding and quantifying the effects of mesopredators on terrestrial and marine systems. In general, she is interested in disturbance and restoration ecology and aspires to examine the efficiency of restoration techniques at restoring disturbance communities, with the goal of understanding how we can promote natural processes to restore ecosystems. In the future, she plans to become an Environmental Lawyer, working to draft, refine, and pass legislation that reduces environmental degradation on a national scale.
