I am a Master of Environmental Management student at Duke, concentrating in Coastal & Marine Systems and Business & Environment. I graduated from Harvard University in 2023, where I majored in Integrative Biology, minored in Environmental Science & Public Policy, was a part of the Harvard College Conservation Society, and contributed briefly to ARMS Restore’s coral reef restoration research on microbial communities.
My experiences in shellfish aquaculture, environmental consulting, marine education, and non-profit administration have inspired my interest in applied ecology for coastal ecosystem restoration. I am particularly passionate about improving restoration outcomes by integrating ecological knowledge, community engagement, and aquaculture practices. In the lab, my work has focused on advancing oyster reef and seagrass restoration through developing a reef restoration technology and building seagrass stakeholder partnerships. Moving forward, I hope to continue working at the intersection of ecology and restoration innovation to help restore vital resources to coastal communities.
