Mason Ibrahim

Mason Ibrahim is a Master of Environmental Management student at Duke University, concentrating in Coastal and Marine Systems and Environmental Data and Analytics, with a certificate in Geospatial Analysis. She is interested in understanding how restoration efforts can be scaled and adapted to meet the challenges facing coastal ecosystems, especially in North Carolina. Her academic background includes a degree in Biology with a concentration in Environmental Science, along with hands-on experience in research, fieldwork, and public engagement. She has worked on projects related to sea turtle rehabilitation, coastal bird monitoring, and aquatic ecology, and values interdisciplinary collaboration to develop solutions that consider both environmental and community needs. Mason hopes to continue building her skills in restoration science, environmental communication, and data-driven decision-making to contribute to long-term conservation outcomes.
