In October 2018, the NSEC organized a career trek to Denver, Colorado where students were able to immerse themselves in the booming energy industry in the area, while also connecting with alumni.
Companies and organizations visited included:
- Rocky Mountain Institute
- E-Source
- Simple Energy
- Gravity Renewables in Boulder
- Xcel Energy
- Colorado Resource Council
- Colorado Energy Office in Denver, and
- McKinstry in Golden.
