In February 2019, the NSEC organized a career trek to Washington, DC where students were able to learn about the diverse career opportunities in the energy industry, while also connecting with local alumni.
Companies and organizations visited included:
- Rocky Mountain Institute
- Edison Electric Institute
- Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
- ClearPath Foundation and Nuscale Power, and
- Advanced Energy Economy.
