Looking to Connect? Join a Regional Network in your Area

The Nicholas School hosts Regional Alumni Networks through LinkedIn in several cities where many of our alumni live and work. Join a network to keep in touch with fellow graduates, find out about local alumni and environmental events and networking opportunities, and stay up-to-date on the latest news from the Duke Environment community. Regional Alumni Networks currently exist for:

  • Boston
  • New York City
  • Portland, OR
  • Raleigh-Durham (Triangle area)
  • San Francisco
  • Washington D.C.

To join a network, you must have or create a LinkedIn profile. Once you have a profile, search LinkedIn groups for “Nicholas School of the Environment” and request group admittance. Once you are accepted, you can look for and join Regional Networks by going to the “Subgroup” section of the Nicholas School’s LinkedIn page, and finding the group in your region. Don’t live near a current Nicholas School regional network city? You can still connect with the larger Duke community through the Duke Alumni Association (DAA).  Or, to learn how to start a new regional network, click here.
