ZIJ was invited to and presented in Kuwait City at the first annual American-Arab Frontiers of Science. The meeting was sponsored by the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and its purpose was to establish scientific collaborations across different cultures. Nearly 25 countries from the Middle East were represented from the region including Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and many others as well as the United States. The meeting was highly successful and a fantastic opportunity to learn more the diversity of cultures and science in the region.
