Sara Blinebry collaborates with UTK

Although not quite the open ocean, Sara Blinebry worked with Marty Szul and colleagues near the mountains of Tennessee to study the effects of nutrient limitation on Prochlorococcus photosynthesis and metabolism. The work is part of an ongoing collaboration between UTK and Duke that focuses on the how the environment affects the physiology, ecology and biogeochemistry of this globally important marine cyanobacteria.
