Duke Oceans Week brings together students, faculty, alumni, and partners to advance ocean sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
The ocean sustains life on Earth, yet its vital systems are increasingly under threat. From plastic pollution to overexploitation and climate-driven loss, our ocean faces profound challenges. Still, it holds the key to regenerative solutions that can restore ecosystems and sustain human prosperity.
Oceans Week at Duke is an annual university-wide celebration hosted by Oceans@Duke, connecting research, policy, business, innovation, and community to inspire collaborative action for a thriving ocean future.
