The Nicholas School hosts events throughout the year, both stateside and internationally, to bring together alumni of different ages and career stages to connect professionally and personally. In addition to our annual alumni reunion on campus, regional groups and networking socials offer great ways to connect. Please join us for our semi-annual Open House at the Duke Marine Lab from 1-3pm on Saturday, July 29. The Open House will include a touch tank, hands-on activities, demonstrations in research labs, and artwork by a local artist. We are excited to welcome you to our campus to share some of the research in marine science and conservation being undertaken by our faculty and graduate students.
Directions to the Duke University Marine Lab:
Pivers Island Road is located on the south side of the Highway 70 Causeway between Morehead City and Beaufort, west of the Beaufort drawbridge. From Pivers Island Road, cross the railroad tracks and follow the signs straight over the small bridge to the designated parking lots.
