Stay connected to the school and fellow alumni
The Nicholas School hosts events throughout the year, both stateside and internationally, to bring together alumni of different ages and career stages to connect professionally and personally. In addition to our annual alumni reunion on campus, regional groups and networking socials offer great ways to connect. To stay connected and hear about events, visit our news and events website, and be sure to register and update your information on the Duke Alumni Association (DAA) network.
Despite resistance to climate change policy and action at the federal level, the Nicholas School of the Environment and Duke Boston are committed to forward progress. This program will feature professional and personal insights from Duke alumni on climate action and risk mitigation. Our four speakers will address topics ranging from managing investments in clean technology startups to climate change resilience design and implementation to climate change humanitarian programs that help those in poverty adapt to the changing environment.
Please join the Nicholas School of the Environment and Duke University for this breakfast panel to learn how you can join in creating effective solutions for climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience. The event will include a moderated panel, Q&A, opportunities for conversation and a continental breakfast.
7:30 am: Registration and networking; continental breakfast provided
8:00 am: Panel discussion followed by Q&A
8:45 am: Continued networking and departure
