Society of American Foresters (SAF) Symposium: “Risky Business? A conversation on forest finance, policy, and management in a climate of change”

On November 15, the Duke University Chapter of the Society for American Foresters (SAF) will host a day long symposium entitled “Risky Business? A conversation on forest finance, policy, and management in a climate of change.” The event will consist of three panel discussions concerning forest risks and how they are incorporated into management, finance, and policy decisions. Panels will possess balanced backgrounds, from professional foresters and practitioners to academia and consultants. Five Continuing Forestry Education (CFE) credits are expected to be available to participants. The event will be held at Duke University and is free and open to the public.
