Kristin (Kris) Zhu is an undergraduate junior studying Public Policy Analysis and Political Science with a History Minor. With a general interest in international affairs, foreign policy, national security, and non-state actors, Kris became interested in how civilian infrastructure is leveraged within political conflicts after taking a course on Israel/Palestine with Dr. Weinthal. At Duke, Kris leads the Alexander Hamilton Society, and is involved in Duke Moot Court, Duke International Relations Association, Honor Council, and Chamber Music. In the future, Kris hopes to pursue a joint JD/PhD degree, studying international law and intervention in the context of protracted conflicts.
