This Spring, DUSRC, along with partner organizations Cape Fear River Watch, Center for Human Health and the Environment at NCSU, and the North Carolina Coastal Federation, hosted a State of the Science/State of the Practice webinar series entitled PFAS in the Food Chain: Science, Risk, and Communication. The three-part webinar series invited experts in the field to share research and practice about PFAS in wild-caught fish and locally sourced foods as well as insights into how to communicate PFAS exposure and health risks to decision makers and the public.

April 21: Setting and Communicating PFAS Fish Consumption Advisories in Other States featuring Brandon Armstrong (Michigan Department of Environment) Erica Bloom (The Ecology Center), and Karly Brown (Michigan Department of Health and Human Services)
