Trevyn Toone

I’m an undergraduate majoring in Earth and Ocean Sciences and Biology at Duke. My research focuses on examining food webs, trophic relationships, and general feeding ecology in the context of the deep-sea. My current project is using bulk stable isotope analysis to uncover food webs in a series of deep-sea seeps in Barbados with the goal of revealing community interactions in an area that presents challenges to traditional research. More broadly I’m interested in trophic cascades, community ecology, and deep-sea science.
