I am currently pursuing my Master of Environmental Management degree in the Coastal Environmental Management concentration, along with my GIS Certification. Before coming to Duke, I received my BA from the University of Virginia where I double majored in Environmental Science and Economics. While at UVA, I was a Research Assistant in the Castorani Lab. The research in this lab revolved around population and community ecology in coastal ecosystems (mainly focusing on oyster reefs and seagrass meadows). This opportunity really reinforced my interests in coastal ecology, conservation, and restoration, and led me to this Duke program. My master’s thesis is focusing on facilitation in intertidal habitats.
