D’Amy Steward

I am an undergraduate senior at Duke double majoring in Biology and Environmental Science with concentrations in Ecology and Marine Science and Conservation. My research, in collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, is working to map all artificial reefs in the southeast US along the continental shelf, find ways to measure productivity, and inform future management of artificial reefs. I am interested in community ecology focusing on disturbance and recovery with applied applications for restoration by utilizing natural interactions among species and their environment.
