Nicholas School Launches New University Page on LinkedIn

The New Nicholas School University Page on LinkedIn Has Arrived!

The Nicholas School is excited to announce the launch of our new LinkedIn University page, a more robust, user-friendly page offered exclusively to Universities, which offers a more streamlined, structured and consistent presence for the Nicholas School on LinkedIn.

This page serves as a means to connect with fellow Nicholas School students, alumni, faculty and staff.  University Pages are a new service offered by LinkedIn and we hope to take full advantage of ours here at the Nicholas School.  In order to do just that, we need your help!  Our newly organized page makes it simple to search for others by name, graduation class, location, company occupation, etc…

So, how can you help?  We hope that you — Nicholas School students, alumni, faculty and staff — find this tool useful in networking and connecting more easily with the Nicholas community, exchanging ideas and sharing professional opportunities.  With this being said, its maximum effectiveness hinges on participation from all!

How to Join/Follow:

– Log into LinkedIn on a computer (University Pages are not yet fully accessible on mobile devices)
– Search “Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment” and choose the University Page under the Universities section
– At the “Role Selector” at the top right-hand side of the page, use the drop-down menu to select your relationship with the   Nicholas School (student, alumni, faculty, staff), ensuring that you will receive updates that are most important to you
– Visit your LinkedIn profile’s “education” and/or “experience” section and make sure that “Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment,” with our official school logo, is your chosen academic institution or employer
