As a Nicholas alum, the choices are yours!
Go. Grow. Give. That’s the three-fold mission of the Nicholas School’s new Alumni Engagement initiative: to provide meaningful opportunities for our School’s 4,000+ graduates throughout the world to:
- GO to a variety of events and activities to connect with your fellow alumni;
- GROW your connection to the Nicholas School and today’s amazing students and faculty through volunteering time; and
- GIVE back to the Nicholas community by contributing your philanthropic support.
Why Go·Grow·Give? Glenda Lee, Director of Alumni Engagement & Programs, explains the impetus behind this new approach to alumni engagement:
“Our new Go·Grow·Give program provides many ways for alumni of all ages and life stages to connect with the School, your fellow alumni, and current students – from presenting as a class guest speaker, to aiding with student recruitment, hosting a tour of your workplace, or rallying former classmates for a reunion. And of course, we will continue to facilitate social events throughout the country (and the world!), and present opportunities to support the School philanthropically.”

You can take your first step in supporting Go·Grow·Give by registering with new Duke Alumni Network. The Network features exclusive access to more than 160,000 profiles of Duke alumni around the world. It enables alumni to search for classmates, sign up for events, follow regional and affinity groups, and update personal information in one place.
The Network also gives students unprecedented access to the alumni network letting them to search for alumni in specific jobs and industries who can provide career guidance.
Additionally, the Network features a first-of-its-kind partnership with LinkedIn, which allows alumni to share their LinkedIn profiles with Duke to ensure their classmates have up-to-date information about their professional skills and accomplishments. To get started, alumni just need to register a login with Duke; visit alumni.duke.edu and click on “Register” to learn more.
