The Johnson Lab welcomed Adrian Marchetti from UNC-CH to DUML for a presentation on his latest research on marine diatoms. The presentation titled, “Insights into phytoplankton evolution and ecology through environmental genomics: individual genes to community transcriptomics” highlighted his groups latest research using molecular techniques to characterize the diversity and activity of this important marine phytoplankton group.
