ZIJ organizes climate adaptation session at Academy Frontiers meeting

Beckman CenterAs part of the German-American Frontiers of Science meeting in 2014, ZIJ co-organized a session on acclimation and adaptation to climate change. The session featured speakers from Germany and the USA and represented both terrestrial and ocean ecosystems.  The goal of the meeting was to bring together outstanding young scientists to discuss exciting advances and opportunities in a broad range of disciplines.  All presentations are openly viewable to the public online.  The symposium, which is co-organized by the US National Academies of Science and the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, is supported by the Kavli foundation to honor scientific achievement and to promote public understanding of scientists and their work.
