Research Objective
To conduct a multi-year examination of relationships amongst krill and ocean predators in Western Antarctic Peninsula. Specifically, to conduct assessments of the density and distribution of predators in relation to the local physical and biological oceanography, using sightings generated through vessel-based surveys.

To test the utility of cost-effective social media-driven citizen science technologies in both the urban and remote parts of Western Australia.
To test the utility of freely available smartphone and social media applications as tools for collecting data on the presence of coastal marine species and threats. To empower local people to collect, share , and analyze these data with a growing set of mapping tools being developed by BlueCloud Spatial.
