Prerequisite & Final Transcript
Successful completion of prerequisite coursework is an important matter. Please do not ignore it!
Students cannot graduate without providing official proof of completion of their prerequisite coursework.
Prerequisite Requirement
If you are completing a prerequisite course this semester, please provide an official transcript to demonstrate successful completion no later than Monday, April 29, 2019. Transcripts submitted by hard copy should be in sealed envelopes signed across the flap by the registrar of the institution. The mailing address is Nicholas School of the Environment, 9 Circuit Drive, Box 90328, Durham, NC 27708-0330. Or, if the institution that you attended uses eSCRIP-SAFE International, Parchment (or similar agent) for the delivery of official transcripts, please ask the university registrar to send your official transcript to nsoe-registrar@duke.edu.
Final Undergraduate and Non-degree Transcripts
If you have not already submitted your final official undergraduate transcript to demonstrate completion of your undergraduate degree, you must do so before you can graduate. If the original final undergraduate transcript is not in English, the student must provide along with the original transcript the certified English translation (both documents are required). Also, if the undergraduate degree is awarded outside of the U.S., the student must also submit an official degree certificate to show proof the undergraduate degree has been awarded; graduation certificates are not acceptable. If the original degree certificate is not in English, the student must provide along with the original degree certificate the certified English translation (both documents are required).
Transcript Submission
Official transcripts should be in sealed envelopes signed or sealed across the flap by the registrar of the institution attended. An official hard copy of all undergraduate and non-degree transcripts should be mailed to Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University/Levine Science Research Center, Suite A101/308 Research Drive/Univ. Box/#90330/Durham, NC 27708-0330. Or, if your undergraduate institution uses eSCRIP-SAFE International, Parchment (or similar agent) for the delivery of official transcripts, please ask the university registrar to send your official transcript to nsoe-registrar@duke.edu. Official transcripts cannot be submitted via email by the student. Electronic transcripts must be submitted by the institution directly.
