To-Do’s

Check back periodically as we might add items to this list.

1. Apply to Graduate in the DukeHub. If you applied to graduate in an earlier term but did not graduate, you will need to apply again

2.  Completed the requirements for a NSOE certificate? Submit the notification form here. If you completed requirements for a certificate outside of NSOE, send an email to nsoe-registrar@duke.edu.

3.  Order academic apparel for graduation ceremonies  (prof, grad & doctoral candidates only)

4.  Donate academic apparel post-graduation weekend  (prof, grad & doctoral candidates only)

5.  We need to know your plans to attend the NSOE Recognition Ceremony; RSVP here; you must be prepared to include the name of your faculty presenter at the point of submission of the RSVP form 

6.  Turn-in Your Hood Prior to NSOE Ceremony (for MEM, MF, PhD candidates only)

7.  Submit your program worksheet 

8.  If you completed a certificate outside of the Nicholas School e.g. the International Development Policy certificate at Sanford, send an email to nsoe-registrar@duke.edu .

9.  Prerequisite/Final Transcript-Submit proof of completion (if applicable)

10.  Make sure your bursar bill is paid or your diploma and transcript will be withheld. Contact bursar@duke.edu should you have questions

11.  Pick up your graduation announcements. Three reserved for each student at no cost. We will notify students when the announcements are available.

12.  Return your locker key to Anne Davis, Building Manager, located at A140 LSRC A Wing (just off the Hug Commons lobby). A fee of $75 will be assessed to your bursar account if the key is not returned by the second Friday in May.
