The Facility is available to both Duke and non-Duke researchers. Many cytometry applications require specific cell handling and processing or sample storage conditions so it is advised that the user contact the Facility at the earliest stages in the project design. Please contact the facility for current instrument use fees.

The Environmental Cytometry Facility is a multi-user facility managed by the Johnson Laboratory at the Marine Laboratory of the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. The Facility, which includes microscopes and advanced flow cytometers, is available to both Duke University and external users and was made possible through generous support of the US-NSF (#0526462, #0959630, #1031064) including a NSF-MRI grant to Johnson, E Bernhardt, C Gunsch and D Hunt at Duke University.
