Leadership

A unique opportunity for interdisciplinary, bottom-up leadership, Duke RESTORE provides Master of Environmental Management students real agency to organize, recruit, plan, and lead teams around their restoration interests.
Research
Paired with faculty who have expertise in restoration topics, students have a direct line to practice a variety of research skills associated with scientific inquiry.

Collaboration

RESTORE teams are designed to bring together scientists of all levels. Teams often have PhD students, postdocs, other masters students, and even undergrads – all focused on a species or ecosystem they care about.
Field Trips
Depending on the ambition of team leaders and advisor support, RESTORE teams can pursue experiential learning to advance restoration knowledge and networks.
