Emma is a Master of Environmental Management candidate in the Ecosystem Science and Conservation concentration and Living Shorelines team co-lead. Before coming to Duke, Emma studied the relationship between land use, water quality, and algal community composition in northeastern North Carolina, where she grew up. At Duke, she is involved in Eno literary magazine and the Duke Environmental Justice Network. Her interests include coastal and wetland science, science writing, and photography.
