DukeFish Speaker Series
DukeFish is small, hands-on, and tight-knit. Naturally, these characteristics influence the structure of our Speaker Series,.
Each semester, the DukeFish leadership team invites fisheries professionals to engage with Duke students. Our guest speakers come from all walks of fisheries-related professions, representing nonprofit organizations, academia, governmental entities, and private companies. We hold 2-3 speaker sessions per semester, and conversation is typically shared in-person and over dinner. This experience provides an unprecedented networking opportunity for those interested in fisheries and marine conservation topics.
