Mindfulness supports DEI work, particularly by fostering an inclusive mindset and disengaging our automatic responses which are often fueled by unconscious bias. This is why the Nicholas School’s Associate Dean of DEI supports our weekly meditation program.

Please join Ellen Cooper for weekly meditations open to the whole Nicholas School community.

  • Who: Anyone in the Nicholas School Community. Biology & Engineering folks are also welcomed!
  • When: Mondays 3-4pm (room open at 3pm to allow folks to arrive and settle at their own pace, with meditation beginning at 3:30pm) – September 26 to December 19!
