About the Program

Through the Alumni-in-Residence Program, the Nicholas School Career and Professional Development Center brings Nicholas School and Duke University alumni back to campus to share their expertise and lead interactive training for Nicholas School students. Alumni are selected to represent the broad range of career interests of Nicholas School students and skills sought by employers. Each Alumnus-in-Residence leads a series of workshops, talks, and student career meetings during a two- to three-day visit.

The Career and Professional Development Center plans to bring four alumni to Durham and one to Duke Marine Lab each year.  If you have suggestions for alumni who would contribute in meaningful ways to the Nicholas School community as an Alumnus-in-Residence, please contact Karen Kirchof (kgki@duke.edu).
