Mason Reynolds

I am a senior majoring in Biology, with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy, and a Certificate in Marine Science and Conservation Leadership. My research interests lie in the intersection between conservation science, policy, and law. Specifically, I am interested in how scientific innovation can be co-opted to inform practical policy and legal decision-making. Currently, I am conducting research for my senior honors thesis in conjunction with Dr. Tom Schultz and the Basurto Lab on the genetics of Pen Shell populations harvested by fishing communities in the Gulf of California, Mexico. In the future, I hope to pursue graduate studies in law and environmental science.
