I completed my Masters of Environmental Management in May of 2014 at Duke and immediately was hired full time by the Basurto Lab. Since mid 2015 I have been working at SeaPlan, a nonprofit coastal and ocean policy and science group based in Boston, Massachusetts. My Master’s project was focused on facilitating coastal stormwater management here in North Carolina and included a user friendly GIS tool to help define stormwater reduction goals. Before my Masters, I studied Environmental Science at the University of Chicago and graduated in the Spring of 2011. In general I am interested in marine and coastal planning and the use of spatial and social data to inform those efforts.
