Poster Presentation

TSRC has continued to grow each and every year. Last year we had close to 100 participants!  As a student lead triangle event we want to use this opportunity to acknowledge all components that are necessary to communicate your scientific research: writing, posters, and oral communication.

This year we will be accepting participants on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to submit your abstract in a timely manner. We will be accepting up to 100 applicants. On the night of the event, each participant will be given several minutes to present to judges as they make their rounds. Each judge will rank their top selections and the winner will be chosen based on the top score.

The goal for a participant in the poster competition is to create a poster highlighting their research. Examples of posters can be seen by Googling “academic science posters” or by looking at last years event photo’s in the “2014 Event Photo’s” page.  The criteria used to score each poster can be found here.

Easels, display boards, tables, chairs, and electrical power will be provided for demos and posters. Any additional questions or needs can be directed to
