Welcome to the Triangle Student Research Competition (TSRC)!
Welcome from the TSRC organizing committee!
What is TSRC:
The TSRC is an event initiated and organized by local student chapters from the Materials Research Society (MRS) and the Electrochemical Society (ECS) from the Triangle’s universities: including NCSU, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Duke University – with the assistance of various co-sponsors from throughout the region. The main purpose of this event is to bring together researchers from throughout the NC Triangle region to network and share their exciting research with other researchers and companies. This event will present you with an opportunity to network with fellow researchers and companies from around the triangle.
Date and Time:
October 5, from 6:00-8:30. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
The competition will be held at the The Frontier in RTP. If you attended last year, this is the same location.
A poster competition where students will present their research in a conference-style setting to faculty and industry judges. Generous prizes will be awarded to the top presenters based on the poster criteria.
Each poster should cover topics on at least one one of the following categories:
1. Electrochemistry, Electronics, and Sensors
2. Modeling and Theoretical Simulations
3. Methods for Making new Materials
4. Material Characterization

Wonderful catering, both dinner and drinks, are available for all participants!
The registration fee this year is $10.00 and must be paid in order for your abstract to be considered.
