Four Courses:

  • Gateway: Foundations of sustainability
  • 2 Electives: Further exploration in economics, society, and the environment
  • Capstone: Develop a culminating group project to integrate academic and experiential activities

Two immersive co-curricular experiences: Students gain real-world application of knowledge and invaluable hands-on learning. Thematically related to the pathway the student has laid out and that, combined, engage with all three dimensions of sustainability. One of the experiences must exceed 300 hours; the other must exceed 150 hours.

Creation of public facing ePorfolio: Provides students with a platform to creatively capture artifacts from their work and experiences throughout the certificate. This is meant to deepen their reflection of their participation in the program and provide a tangible accounting of students’ learning.
