In an effort to familiarize our readers with the organisms studied by our labs, we’re starting a summer blog-esque series titled “Friend Request Accepted”. Just as Facebook provides us with an opportunity to expand networks, stay in contact with people we meet and get to know them better, these Facebook inspired posts will introduce you to and help you learn more about some of the model organisms we research here at the Duke Superfund Center.
