The first North American stop on the Race for Water Odyssey was in New York City. At this stop the team held a press conference at the North Cove Marina, briefed the United Nations Environment Program’s Global Partnership for Marine Litter and attended a social event at the Swiss Ambassador to the United Nations residence in the city. The field team then set sail for Panama, while the science team headed back to the lab to start working on the data!
