On October 6th, more than 150 alumni and friends joined us at the Newseum in Washington, DC for the first of our coast-to-coast 25th anniversary celebrations. It was a wonderful evening of reminiscing, reconnecting and making new friends. Nicholas faculty members Megan Mullin and Dave Johnston G ’04 presented inspiring talks about their research and teaching at the school; current student Laura Marie Davis MEM ’17 discussed the many positives that came from her Stanback Internship; and alumnus Joel Dunn MEM/MPP ’04, president and CEO of the Chesapeake Conservancy, gave a great talk about the value his Nicholas education has added in his career.

We realize not everyone could make it back to Durham for our 25th Anniversary Gala – so we’re bringing the celebration to you! We’re planning another celebration in San Francisco on March 14th, 2017. Details to come, but please save the date and plan to join us for another wonderful evening!
