In early October, 11 MEM students and 1 Sanford student traveled to the Seattle and Portland area to visit with sustainability departments at different companies, including:
- Amazon
- Nike
- MiiR
- Bullitt Foundation
- Recology CleanScapes
- Sustainable Business Consulting
- REI
- Greenwood Resources
Students met with the following alumni along the way who served as hosts at their respective employer’s offices. They answered students’ questions, offered insight and advice, shared their own experiences, and provided hands on experiences for the students:
