What we do

What we do

NPAC meetings are open to the public. To attend, please contact a member of NPAC.

Our group aims to advocate on behalf of PhD students, so if you feel you need something, please contact us! We can direct you to professionals, connect you to resources, and advocate on your behalf to the staff and faculty of the Nicholas School.

We aim to:

  • Solicit annual feedback from constituents via anonymous surveys regarding student concerns, well-being, and questions, to be passed forward to Nicholas School administration
  • Strengthen professional and social relationships among students in Nicholas School-affiliated PhD programs.
  • Advocate for the academic and professional interests of Nicholas School-affiliated PhD students.
  • Support the well-being and emotional health of PhD students through programming, as well as highlighting available resources available to Duke students.
