Assessment is an important component of the InTeam project. As a community of practice, we are deeply interested in assessing our progress in a number of ways, including but not limited to:
- Assessing how students use iPads and perceive their utility in class, lab and field settings.
- Using iPads in assessing student learning and proficiency in topics covered in courses
- Using iPads in creative ways to document learning by contributing to the Duke Marine Lab’s portfolio of “learning artifacts.” Artifacts of learning are tangible products that students design, create and share with others. Monitoring the creation and accumulation of these artifacts can be extremely useful for assessing the progress of the InTeam project
