Venture Mentoring Program Launches this Fall!
Want to jump start your entrepreneurial career? Then this is the program for you. The Venture Mentoring Program debuted at the Amsterdam health and technology institute (ahti) in the Netherlands on October 14, 2016. The course will conclude in early December. Duke Startup Challenge Applications Deadline Closed
With the application deadline past, it’s time to gear up to be ready for next year’s competition. The Duke Startup Challenge is a year-long entrepreneurship competition with an entry pool of over 100 Duke student teams. After elimination rounds through the year and participation in the Duke Startup Challenge Summer Incubator Program, several teams remain. This is a fantastic competition – culminating in the top teams vying for the $50,000 grand prize! EI&E Wins NSF Grant
The EI&E program wins NSF BCI:PFI funding ($1M) for a joint project with Pratt and RENCI for a ‘smart’ sensing system. The goal of the project is to develop a cost-effective, scalable, smart underground oil leak location system that can be modified to serve a host of applications in leak detection and pollution measurement including applications in gas leak detection, water leak detection, and pollution monitoring.
