  • The Duke Sustainability Office has released its 2015 Progress Report of the Sustainability Strategic Plan! Read more about the measures big Duke is taking to stay on target for its 2024 goal here.
  • Yay Duke! Water refilling stations have saved an estimated 400,000 plastic bottles according to data released on October 28th, 2015.  See the article in Duke TODAY to learn more.
  • Environment Hall is officially LEED Platinum, bringing the total count of LEED certified buildings on campus to 32.
  • As of fall semester 2015, DUGI is sponsoring the Green Roof and Orchard Workforce (known as GROW) to bring students, faculty, and staff access to gardening resources on the rooftop of Environment Hall.  For more information on the gardening movement, read this article about GROW leader Alex Klonick, and get involved!
